Who
uses Friendly Jingle?
The
elderly, seniors who are lonely or in marginal health,
people with Alzheimer's, shut-ins, handicapped persons.
All will benefit by "Friendly Jingles," live
daily calling program. Usually the grown children, often
a spouse, friend or Social worker arranges the service.
Is
it a live caller or a machine who makes the calls?
At
Friendly Jingle, we know how important consistency and
a familiar voice is to your loved one. So, we create a
team of individuals who call at least once a day. This
way you have consistency. Also, this insures that if one
of our callers is not working that day, your loved one
will have a relationship with several of our callers.
Who
are the callers who make the calls?
Our
callers consist primarily of Seniors and Stay at home
moms. We are able to employ them, from home, and give
them the opportunity to provide a loving service while
earning additional income.
What
happens if there is no answer?
We
call every day within a 4 hour window. If we don't get
an answer, we will try again. If there is no answer the
second time, we will call or email you so you can decide
the best direction to take.
How
do you know what to say and ask our loved one?
When
you sign up you will fill out a questionairre. It will
ask you about your loved one's favorite hobby's, about
kids and grandchildren. You work with us to provide a
menu of talking options. We keep notes and that way we
can continue to have a running dialogue each day.
Will
my loved one be called by the same person or several persons?
At
Friendly Jingle, we know how important consistency and

Is
a few minutes a day enough time to check in with our loved
one?
We
find that as long as your senior loved one knows that
they will be called every day, reliably, they do not need
to stay on the calls very long. It is the fear of not
being called again that gives them cause to not want to
hang up. If they need addional talking time, we have other
call plans to fit those needs.
What
if you make the call and my loved one is sick or in pain?
We
call or email you immediately. If your loved one asks
us for emergency help, we will also call the ambulance
service, Doctor, or emergency persons given to us by you
during the sign up process.
Will
Friendly Jingle try and sell my loved one other services?
The
only phone call your loved one will receive from Friendly
Jingle is a daily Care-Call. Our Care-Callers are carefully
screened during the hiring and training process. They
will never speak to your loved one about anything other
than that which pertains to the daily Care-Call.
Will
Friendly Jingle sell or give my information to a third
party?
Friendly
Jingle will never sell or provide your information to
a third party. Any information you provide to Friendly
Jingle will only be used for the purpose of a daily Care-Call. |
